Director (Maternity Cover)
- Salary: £75,000 per annum
- Contract: 1 year, fixed term (subject to funding); Starting January 2027
- Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Location: Hybrid (at least 1 day a week in the London office, EC1V, plus attendance at external meetings/events as required)
- Reporting to: Board of Trustees

About the CJA
The CJA brings together charities, academics, and individuals with lived and professional experience. We pride ourselves on being the only completely independent member body in the criminal justice sector.
As we approach our landmark 20th anniversary in 2027 you will play a vital role in working closely with our members to operationalise our 2027–2030 strategy. This is a varied role responsible for maintaining the CJA’s profile, amplifying the work of our 200+ members, and driving systemic change.
We are looking for a leader with a “steady hand” to provide guidance for our small but mighty team and who will maintain operational momentum, champion our mission, and secure our ongoing financial sustainability.
