The Saskia Jones Legacy Award

This Award aims to carry on the legacy of Saskia Jones, a committed advocate for victims. Saskia’s research focused was on how victims of sexual violence are handled across the criminal justice system in practice and policy. Her decision to join the police force was driven by her passion to make a real change in this field.

This award is for a dedicated and passionate individual who has positively impacted the lives of victims in the last 12 months.

This might be someone who has supported victims directly, improved understanding through research, or whose campaigning has led to changes in policy or practice. The individual may have supported victims of any type of crime in any setting. They may work in the public, private or voluntary sector.

The winner of this award will receive £1,000. The runner-up will receive £500.

Entrants will be judged on the impact they have had in one or more areas of the CJA vision.
