Birmingham Says No CIC is dedicated to combating knife crime and youth violence in the community. Through various initiatives, they aim to raise awareness about the dangers of carrying knives and engage young people in positive activities that steer them away from violence. The CIC provides educational workshops, diversional activities, and positive youth events to empower individuals and create a safer environment for all.

Restart is a young and dynamic CIC with a vision dedicated to the promotion of the health and well-being of people in prison, leaving prison, who have left prison, their family members, support networks, the local community and anyone affected by imprisonment. We provide support through the provision of a range of services and information.

Recre8now combines psychology and performance to deliver creative drama workshops and programmes for young people (aged 10-25 years) who have offended, and those who are at risk of offending. The programmes offered by Recre8now are unique forms of rehabilitation work in which participants’ perspectives are proactively challenged, helping individuals to reintegrate into society.

The New Leaf Initiative is a local, grassroots community interest company working to support people with convictions away from crime and into work. New Leaf offers training and education, sign-posting, work experience and programmes which coach, develop and rehabilitate people.

Anawim is a Women’s Centre based in Birmingham that provides holistic, trauma-informed support to women.

Futures Unlocked is an established multi-faith and non-faith community chaplaincy working in Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull to increase community safety, reduce reoffending and strengthen communities.

The Margaret Carey Foundation promotes restorative justice in prisons. The Foundation delivers community and prison-based work projects; ensures prison trainees pay back and make amends to society as they serve their sentences; benefits the environment by recycling unwanted items; helps communities in need, at home and abroad.

Abandofbrothers works with young men involved in the criminal justice system, providing them with the support they need to make the transition to an adulthood free of crime, and filled with a sense of belonging, connection and purpose.
